ERDL = Environmental Research and Design Lab.
We are a multidisciplinary design studio based in Macao, SAR and Pretoria, South Africa. Our focus is the research, development and design of solutions to everyday problems and questions by exploring different design scales, from the micro to the macro. We operate within the fields of Urban Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design and Eco-Consulting.
Our design philosophy emerges from a colourful mix of contemporary experiences and cultures based on our eclectic understanding of today’s evolving world. We capture and print that ever-changing dynamic in our design vision through the virtues of geometric organisation, pragmatism, and logic.
In our projects, we aim to include Environmental Responsibility as a fundamental and ubiquitous concept in the design process and all of its final products.
